Just a year and a half into operations, DCC’s custom-designed CableLiner Shuttle in Mexico City has safely transported 2.5 million ticketed passengers and airport staff with 99.63 % availability. Sixteen DCC employees maintain the system, which runs between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Benito Juarez International Airport. By using its unique modular guideway, DCC realized the installation of its one-track system in only 17 months. Benito Juarez International Airport ranked among the world's busiest airports with 30 million passengers annually.
